Whether you're going for a holiday, or just checking the area out before you potentially buy a place of your own there, our list of things to do in Port Aransas is a must-read.

Port Aransas Community Theatre

They also host creative events and tournaments!

Port Aransas Art Centre

Similarly to the Community Theatre, Port Aransas Art Centre is another of the town's creative hubs. Here, you can find all kinds of art classes to keep you busy.

It's the best place to go if you're looking to nurture a new hobby or hone in on your creative skills. With a calendar full of watercolor, pastel, mixed media, family fun art and drop in and draw sessions, you're spoilt for choice!

There's even a Youth Artists Summer Camp being held to keep the kids feeling artsy too!

Roberts Point Park

This charming 50-acre park has plenty to see and do.

Arguably the nicest park in Port Aransas, you’ll find a lighted fishing pier, granite jetties, peaceful trails and an observation tower.

Relax and watch the boats on the water from one of the many park benches and pack a picnic too. On occasion, there are outdoor movie screenings, performances and local events in the pavilion you can catch.

Try your luck at fishing and check out the view from the observation tower. You might spot some dolphins!

Overall, Roberts Point Park makes for a great afternoon destination.

On Wednesdays at 9 am this summer, there's free boardwalk birding to take part in. Everyone is encouraged to come along and take part.
