 | As a San Antonio native, Charlie has pursued a passion for hunting and fishing all of his life. Fueled by his desire to hunt dangerous game, he has hunted all over the world to include most of North America, Argentina, and Africa. His strong sense of conservation has led him to longtime involvement in Safari Club International including a current position as VP of the newly formed Hill Country SCI.
After serving in the Marine Corp for four years, he used the GI Bill to obtain his BBA from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State) and entered the Pharmaceutical Industry. Charlie utilized his business & managerial acumen in a variety of capacities and subsequently obtained his MBA from St. Mary’s University a few years ago.
Charlie has maintained his Real Estate Brokers License for the last 25 years and has actively bought, sold and developed many different types of properties. During this time he served as Chairman of the Board for National Title Company, on the Board of Directors for Texas Commerce Bank, as well as several other boards. Farm and Ranch has always been his favorite and joining the Phyllis Browning Premier Farm & Ranch team has been a natural fit.
Charlie has been blessed with a wonderful family and friends. He raised his two daughters, Shelby & Keri, who are now happily married to his two great sons in law, Nick & Matt. Shelby and Nick just made Charlie a proud grandfather with the recent birth of twins, a grandson and granddaughter and Keri is expecting.
