John Nisbet is General Counsel for Phyllis Browning Company and Board Certified in Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. The foundation of his practice in his chosen specialty is his ~$40 million experience in real estate sales and background as a third-generation broker. A San Antonio native, he has been dually licensed as both an attorney and broker since 2006 and 2007, respectively.

John graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and St. Mary's University School of Law. He holds certificates from The University of Texas School of Law, The University of Innsbruck, Austria's Institute on World Legal Problems, and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School.

His memberships include the San Antonio Bar Association (SABA) as Vice-Chair of its Real Estate Section, the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL), San Antonio Real Estate Discussion Group (SAREDG), San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR), and both Texas and National Association of Realtors (TXR/NAR).
