Fredericksburg, Texas – Phyllis Browning Company (PBC) is excited to announce the opening of its newest office at the historic 116 E. Travis Street building in Fredericksburg. This historic landmark was originally built and owned by Carl Henke, who was believed to be the first boy born to German immigrants settled in Fredericksburg in 1848.
Our new location shows PBC’s commitment to Fredericksburg’s rich history and deep German roots, and also a further commitment to bring the top-quality service and excellence that PBC is known for to Fredericksburg Real Estate.
The PBC story in Fredericksburg started when two of our agents, Jennifer and Chris Stearns moved to Fredericksburg from San Antonio to raise their growing family in a smaller community with close relationships. Shortly after their move, Teresa Bailey Weirich joined PBC as a commercial, as well as land and ranch specialist, and operated throughout the Texas Hill Country, naturally using Fredericksburg as her home base.
As Fredericksburg gained more and more national attention for its wine making, food and hospitality, it became more and more evident that Fredericksburg would be a perfect fit for PBC. Our agents in Boerne and Alamo Heights were already active in the area for high-end luxury, ranches and home sales, and PBC’s growing commercial division frequently operated around Fredericksburg.
