As the daughter and granddaughter of U.S. Air Force pilots€”and now the proud mother of daughters serving as officers in the military€”service and commitment run deep in my family. I also hold a private pilot's license myself, a reflection of a lifelong connection to aviation and adventure. Having lived in communities across the country and abroad€”including Okinawa, Japan€”I understand firsthand the complexities of relocation.
