Originally from Corpus Christi, Melissa has proudly called San Antonio home since she attended the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where she received her bachelor's and master's degrees. In 2009, she took a leap of faith and founded her own marketing and advertising firm, Aguillon Creative, where she thrived in managing every aspect of the business while delivering outstanding service to her clients.

Giving back to the community is a core value for Melissa. She has served on the board of the San Antonio Playhouse since 2024, Co-chaired their Annual Gala her first year in office and will come back for a repeat performance in 2025. She has previously served on the University of Texas at San Antonio Alumni Board and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Alongside her husband, Thomas, they have raised over $500,000 for the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation. Melissa and her children also dedicate their time to volunteering with organizations such as National Charity League, Animal Defense League, and the San Antonio Food Bank, instilling the importance of community service in their family.

A true food enthusiast, Melissa loves to explore San Antonio's vibrant culinary scene and enjoys tending her garden. She stays actively engaged with the city's growth and development, always looking for new ways to contribute.

Melissa has been married to Thomas for over 20 years, and together they are proud parents to Benjamin, who is currently studying at the University of Texas at Austin, and Karina, who attends Cornerstone Christian School. -Feb 9 2025 4:01AM
