A third-generation restaurateur, he was raised in a family of entrepreneurs and developed his genuine passion for people during his 43 years in the hospitality industry. As a member of the Phyllis Browning- Browning Commercial team, Nick devotes this passion and a wealth of life experience to his clientele.

Nick earned a BA at the University of Texas, a Master of Urban Affairs and Planning at Boston University and an MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University. After five years in the not-for-profit housing and community development profession, he eventually returned to his roots, developing, and expanding his own chain of restaurants. He remains active as an advisor in his restaurants to this day, sharing his business acumen as an added resource for his clientele.

Nick's years in academia taught him the discipline of research, complex concepts and problem solving. His years in hospitality taught him about people and transactions - listening, understanding, guiding, negotiating, anticipating, and resolving. These are skills he brings to his clients. He is resourceful, passionate, and experienced at thinking outside the box.

Real estate transactions Nick has closed include both sell and buy side, as well as landlord and tenant representation. These transactions have included: industrial flex warehouse, corporate office, central business district retail/warehouse, historical structures, commercial development land, retail leasing, rural commercial improved land, restaurants, and one single-family residential portfolio (as executive staff of a local not-for-profit). He services central Texas, including Waco, Austin (MSA), San Marcos, New Braunfels, Cibolo/Selma/Seguin, San Antonio, Boerne/Comfort/Waring, Bandera/Pipe Creek, Three Rivers/George West, Cuero, Yorktown, and Leakey.

A firm believer in the strength of community, Nick has actively served on local not-for- profit boards including past president of his Church parish and the Entrepreneurs' Organization. He also served as a board member of the San Antonio Restaurant Association, SER Jobs for Progress, and the OLLU Business Advisory Council. Through his businesses, Nick supports numerous veteran-related service organizations. Nick is a current member of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS', Texas Realtors' and National Association of REALTORS'. He is also a continuing member of the National, Texas and San Antonio Restaurant Associations.

Nick and his wife, Mary, enjoy the wonderful challenges of raising their blended family (six boys), as well as live music, travel, and quiet movie nights at home. -Apr 10 2026 2:00AM
