My house sat on the market for more than 6 months and just felt that it was time to change realtors. Once I made some minor improvements that Janet recommended and relisted the house, in less than a week I was under contract. The process from being under contract to closing was sooth sailing. Given that I no longer lived in San Antonio, to be able to sell the house was such a relief. Janet Heydenreich found the perfect house for me! I was all over the place as far as what I thought I wanted. She listened to my “non-negotiables” and emailed listings for multiple houses for me to look over or drive by. Shortly thereafter, Janet showed me the perfect house in the perfect location. She is an excellent negotiator and made sure that I got the house since multiple contracts came in at the same time. She made sure that the closing went smoothly and answered all my questions. The Phyllis Browning team was professional and easy to work with. Janet Heydenreich really went above and beyond. She stayed on the sellers, calling them often, to make sure they kept up with their promises and their end of the deal, trying to get us the most bang for our buck. I appreciated her willingness to negotiate, and deal! She is not a sleeping real estate agent. She stayed in close contact with our lender. It was little things that really set her apart...The yard was a mess by the time closing came around, so she had it mowed for us day before move-in. She kept on us to get warranty transfers, etc. She had done so many things like this, that I told her, "next, I'll be asking for hair dresser referrals"....which she promptly responded with. (I was kidding.)
